Back when I became a Canadian citizen, I promised myself to visit each Canadian Province and Terrority.
After spending ten years in British Columbia, a Health Hacking event in Yukon, a wedding in Winnipeg, Manitoba, a holiday in Alberta (Baff to Jasper and back), multiple trips to Ontario (and now living here), and a small trip to Quebec – so six out of twelve. It was time to explore some of the East Coast of Canada.
We debated an expansive trip, but time was limited and so was cash
The draw to Newfoundland was the Norse ruins, rumors of good food, and a lot of wilderness unique to its island.
